The Shetland Special
Oliver and Dodger were tired of always being the last to know what was going on around the yard. All the other ponies could see one another and the people passing; they knew when tea was on it's way and when anything interesting drove onto the yard but Oliver and Dodger were too small, they only knew it was raining if the wind happened to be blowing it in!
One day, Mr Wilkinson decided something had to be done and that afternoon, while the Shetlands were out grazing, he changed the doors on their stables.
They could't believe it, now they could join in with everyone else. To say thank you to Mr Wilkinson, they decided not to nip or kick for a whole week!
